  • 3/4 cup of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol 60% or higher

  • 1/4 cup of aloe vera gel

  • 15-20 drops of peppermint essential oil

  • lidded plastic or glass bottle

The alcohol will help kill bacteria, and mixed with the aloe vera gel, forms a moisturizing gel based sanitizer. The addition of the peppermint essential oil gives the hand sanitizer extra germ fighting strength and a pleasant scent.
